The MSU Alumni Office (MSUAO), in partnership with the Center for Community Engaged Learning (CCEL) and LiveOn, present the Fall 2021 Spartan Day of Service, Oct. 16. Spartan Day of Service is an opportunity for MSU students to make an extraordinary impact through service. This organized, collaborative effort brings Spartans together to serve the community while demonstrating the reach and power of the Spartan network.
The projects offered Oct. 16 will provide students the opportunity to make an impact in the greater Lansing area. We have partnered with local community schools, nonprofits and parks and recreation departments to provide projects that will have an immediate impact in the community. Projects range from helping at Potter Park Zoo to playground clean up to helping to decorate for Halloween. We are also partnering with Lansing Parks & Recreation in an effort to help honor the memory of residents that once served our country. For those that would rather serve virtually, hybrid projects will be available as well.
