Examining Responsible Innovation at the Chemistry/Design Interface

In this talk, Dr. Vasko will present her recent interdisciplinary work on exploring responsible innovation at the nexus of chemistry and design. She will focus on unpacking shifting notions of “responsible” and “innovation” through case-­‐study based content analysis of trade journal advertisements for industries at this nexus. She will touch on the personal and professional dimensions, including the hows and whys, of looking at responsible innovation at the intersections of chemistry, history, design, and philosophy.
