The College of Arts & Letters (CAL) Excel Network is excited to launch its On the Road: Detroit trip focusing on career opportunities in these areas. The trip, which will take place on Friday, April 12 from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm, will offer a small group of CAL students the opportunity to visit several employers and network with MSU alumni and professionals working in Design | Media | Technology and Entrepreneurship | Business | Innovation.
Our trip will consist of the following:
· Visit with employers to network, learn about their work, and understand jobs/internships available
· Lunch with alumni and professionals currently working in Detroit
· An introduction to the MSU Detroit Spartans Alumni Club
· Walking tour of Detroit to explore what it’s like to live, work, and play in the city
Cost:
There is a nonrefundable $15 program fee to cover lunch, transportation, and walking tour. After accepted to the program, students will pay for the trip through the Handshake registration system.
