The focus of this career fair is recruiting future Packaging Industry talent. Many of the employers will be recruiting for School of Packaging Internship Program and entry-level Packaging opportunities.  All qualified students are encouraged to participate.

This is an ONLINE virtual fair. You will attend using your computer (preferable), tablet or phone and connect with employers using video chat. Dress for success and be ready for some great conversations!

Recruiters seeking Packaging students will be present with Internship & Co-op and/or Full-Time opportunities. Please research employers attending and check out their opportunities on Handshake prior to the fair.

How do I participate in the event? Register to attend the fair on Handshake, and then sign up for 1:1 and group sessions with the employers you’d like to meet with. On the day of the fair, simply log into Handshake, navigate to the fair page, and click on the My Sessions tab to start your meetings. Make sure you are using Google Chrome. The 1 on 1 sessions are short 5-10 minute chats that will hopefully lead to longer next-day interviews.

How can I prepare? Research the companies. Know what kinds of opportunities they offer, research news related to them, and review their website. Prepare questions for the company, and review your qualifications so that you are prepared to talk about past experiences and how they would relate to the duties you’d perform in the job.
