Mock Career Fair

Students of all majors are welcome to speak with Fortune 500 companies at the Women in Business Students’ Association (WBSA) Mock Career Fair on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, from 6:30 PM-8:30 PM in the MSU Union Ballroom-Second Floor.

It is an opportunity for students’ to rehearse their elevator speech and receive feedback in preparation for the actual Fall Career Days on September 18-19, 2019 at the Breslin Center. Recruiters from more than 25 different corporations will be available to talk to students.

The Mock Career Fair is an event that imitates the actual Career Fairs to provide students with the opportunity to gain feedback from real recruiters, network with Fortune 500 companies, practice their professional skills and work through the anxiety that is prone to happen before this big day.

Some of the companies attending the Mock Career Fair are General Mills, Target, PWC, Pepsico and Amazon.

WBSA is a student organization that is part of the Multicultural Business Programs within the Eli Broad College of Business. They provide students with an opportunity to establish relationships with Fortune 500 companies at bi-weekly General Membership Meetings and other annual events.
