Enjoy an evening with celebrated author and journalist Mitch Albom presented by the MSU College of Arts and Letters Alumni Board and MSU Friends of Theatre. Tickets include a copy of Albom’s newest novel to be released on October 9, The Next Person You Meet in Heaven, as well as the opportunity to have it signed by the author. The book signing will follow a 7pm author talk taking place in Wharton’s Cobb Great Hall.
Albom’s latest book is the long-awaited sequel to his bestselling The Five People You Meet in Heaven, published in 2003. He is the author of six consecutive #1 New York Times bestsellers. Tuesdays with Morrie, which spent four straight years atop the New York Times list, is now the bestselling memoir of all time. In addition to a 30-year career as a sports columnist for the Detroit Free Press, Mitch Albom is also a philanthropist, playwright, and screenwriter.
All proceeds from this event will fund student scholarships for MSU’s College of Arts and Letters, which includes the Department of Theater.
Mitch Albom will only be signing copies of The Next Person You Meet In Heaven. Please understand that due to the popularity of the event, he will not be able to sign other books he has authored.
