Having both an MBA and a BA from Michigan State University, Lucinda Wright has not only been an innovator here in East Lansing but across the country as a whole. Wright has been awarded the Excellence in Marketing award from Michigan State University, an Effie award for excellence in advertising and has received the Top 20 Best New Frozen Products of the Year from Supermarket Review. Before this, Wright led the innovation, strategy, marketing and sales practices at JPG Resources, a company that supports start-up companies and young, accelerated growth brands in the food & beverage industry as well as serving as the Director of Private Brand Foods Product Development for Meijer. Additionally, she rose to the VP of Marketing at Kellogg Company and served in key leadership positions on large global brands as well as led the new product innovation team and played a key role in the acquisition of Kashi. Wright is currently leading the game-changing launch and expansion of Cask & Kettle’s line of craft-brewed cocktails. This brand has pioneered the creation of a new segment within the spirits industry (k-pod cocktails) and is, globally, first to market.
