This interactive virtual workshop is designed to present attendees with activities, case studies, concepts, and approaches to better equip them to consciously and responsibly navigate future design projects. This workshop teaches designers how to recognize and combat antiquated and problematic design industry ideologies and practices, as well as how to equitably collaborate with community members who are directly impacted by the problem being addressed through design. Attendees will leave this workshop with a list of actionable steps to employ in their personal design practices.
