Conversations to Save the World @ Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at MSU | East Lansing | Michigan | United States

In this conversation, we’ll learn why cross-disciplinary approaches to global problem solving are so critical and discover some of the tools we can use to be better collaborators and activists when taking on environmental issues. We’ll also enjoy a live, theatrical performance of Visions for the End of the World, a play by Scott Crandall, and look at how artistic and spiritual expression contribute to conversations around climate change, land rights, and sustainability. Addressing themes in our current video program, When the Land Speaks, this event brings together professionals from diverse fields to address our ever-changing relationship with the land in which we live. Speakers include Michael O’Rourke, Gretel Van Wieren, Melissa Kaplan, and Edgar Cardenas.
