2017 Master of Fine Arts Exhibition @ Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum | East Lansing | Michigan | United States
Please join the Department of Art, Art History, and Design at the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum, MSU for the 2017 Master of Fine Arts Exhibition currently on view. The 2017 Master of Fine Arts Exhibition marks the culmination of a three-year degree program that emphasizes extensive creative exploration under the supervision of a faculty guidance committee. Focused study in an area of concentration, as well as course work in art history and related fields, helps artists situate their work within the larger discourse that characterizes the practice of art and design today. The creative research of Ladan Bahmani, Kristen Franyutti, Elyse Gambino, Jordan Smith, and Chelsea Young, stands as evidence of their achievements and promise.
This year the annual Master of Fine Arts Prize will be awarded to an outstanding candidate by guest juror Janet Dees, Curator at the Mary & Leigh Block Museum of Art at Northwestern University.
