>> STUDENT REGISTRATION OPENS FEB. 23RD, 6 p.m. <<
Where is the fair? The fair is held virtually from within Handshake.
Who can attend? This event is open to all students at Michigan universities.
What do I need to do? Register to attend the fair on Handshake, and then sign up for 1:1 and group sessions with the employers you’d like to meet with. On the day of the fair, simply log into Handshake, navigate to the fair page, and click on the my sessions tab to start your meetings.
How can I prepare? Research the companies. Know what kinds of opportunities they offer, research news related to them, and review their website. Prepare questions for the company, and review your qualifications so that you are prepared to talk about past experiences and how they would relate to the duties you’d perform in the job.
What should I wear? We recommend business casual or business professional. A suit, slacks and a blazer or a professional dress is preferred.
