Women of Color Embodied Knowledge Forum @ Erickson Hall KIVA (Room 103) | East Lansing | Michigan | United States

A forum for engaging and highlighting the unique knowledges, ways of being, and literacies of Women of Color. During this forum, participants will have the opportunity to learn about, engage with, and participate in various literacy practices informed by the embodied knowledges of Women of Color and their
respective cultural, ethnic, and racialized experiences in our world. The forum will consist of a series of workshops, panel discussions, presentations, and think-spaces for informal networking and conversations.

Keynote Speakers:

  • Emily & Adaku of Harriet’s Apothecary
  • Christy Bieber Anishinaabekwe Artist, Filmmaker & Cultural Worker with #TheAadizookaan
  • Helina Metaferia Visiting Assistant Professor/Artist in Residence of Critical Race Studies
  • Kelly Church & Cherish Parrish a mother and daughter team that come from an unbroken line of black ash basket makers
