On the Road: Southeast Michigan @ Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Detroit

The College of Arts & Letters (CAL) Excel Network is excited to launch its On the Road: Southeast Michigan trip focusing on career opportunities in nonprofit and public administration. The trip, which will take place on Friday, October 18 from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm, will offer a small group of CAL students the opportunity to explore career options, learn about job/internship opportunities, and connect with professionals in these career communities: Nonprofit | Education | Social Impact and International | Law | Government.

Our trip will consist of the following:

– Employer visits to the Center for Michigan/Bridge Magazine, ACCESS Community Health Research Center & Human Services, and ACLU Michigan

– Lunch with MSU alumni working in Southeast Michigan

– Introduction to Detroit Spartans Alumni Club

– Tour of Arab American National Museum

Cost: There is a nonrefundable $15 program fee to cover lunch, transportation, and tour of the museum. After accepted to the program, students will be billed via their student accounts. Financial support is available to CAL majors only.
