A bunch of us at Paradowski started creating posters as a way of processing the COVID-19 Pandemic. We decided to invite other creatives to join us and opened this online store, with 100% of the proceeds from print purchases going directly to the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
It started with a simple question: How could we contribute to COVID-19 relief efforts without adding to the noise?
Apart: Posters from a Social Distance was born with the hope that it would give us the chance to be a part of something meaningful, even while we’re apart.
It made us all feel better, and we want to invite others to participate, too. We’re asking all contributors to submit a poster that reflects their experience of this complicated, historic time. Topics might include public service-style announcements in the tradition of the Works Progress Administration, personal expressions of your individual experience, or commentary on the peculiarities of the here and now.
Submissions will be compiled and displayed online in a virtual gallery and available for purchase, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. All work submitted will be credited across platforms. We encourage you to seize and share this opportunity, so we can all do some good together, even when we can’t do much else.
