ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS

This modern version of a commedia dell’arte piece follows the misfortunes of perpetually hungry Francis who suddenly finds himself employed by two separate bosses. Set in England during the 1960s this hilarious farce made James Corden a star.

Some playful sexual innuendo and mild profanity.
Appropriate for ages 10 and up.

The Summer Circle stage is an outdoor performance venue located between the Kresge Art Building and the Auditorium on the MSU Campus. Free parking is available across the street. In the event of rain, the performances will be moved into the Fairchild Theatre.

 All performances are free and open to the public. Theatregoers can arrive early to grab a Summer Circle seat next to the stage or bring their own chairs for casual lawn seating. Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy during the show or buy a Food Truck treat. See you at the circle!

Enjoy a night cap of comedy with MSU’s Second Stage Improv. This touring troupe of Michigan State theatre students and teaching artists is, in its purest form, is a collaborative real-time creation by the players as the improvisation unfolds without use of an written script.
