Please join the Creative Writing Program and the RCAH Center for Poetry for Live Lit, a showcase of undergraduate writing, featuring the work of Cassandra Bloomingdale, Madeline Bradley, and Hannah Ramirez.

The three readers will also engage in conversation about writing and craft with Romeo Oriogun, author of  The Origin of Butterflies, published through the New Generation African Poets Chapbook Series.  The event will be held Tuesday, October 29, at 7 pm in the LookOut Gallery of Snyder-Phillips Hall.  The event is free and open to the public.

Jackie Sumell is a prison abolitionist and multidisciplinary artist inspired most by the lives of everyday people. A former artist-in-residence at MSU, she will be talking to us about her contribution to the Broad Museum exhibit “Seeds of Resistance” and her collaboration with students in SS2020 GSAH 201: Introduction to Global Studies.
