Participatory action research and the language curriculum: Practical and ethical considerations for the world languages educator
In this workshop, you will become familiar with the principles of Participatory Action Research (PAR) and how it can be used to build curriculum and facilitate pedagogical interactions among participants in the World Languages classroom. We will examine applications of PAR in the day-to-day operations of the language classroom and how it can contribute to student motivation and autonomy.

Join us at the TESOL International Conference in Seattle! As the largest organization for English language educators, TESOL International Association hosts more than 6,500 people annually from around the world at its convention. Educators at all levels attend to exchange ideas and connect with a dynamic professional community.
The convention begins on Tuesday night with the opening keynote and closes on Friday evening with a celebratory event. During those three-plus days, attendees can choose from nearly 1,000 educational sessions and visit the more than 120 exhibitors in the English Language Expo.

We will take vans to the outlet and spend the day shopping.
Meet at the Wells Hall B entrance at the bottom the stairway that leads to the ELC at 8:15am. DO NOT BE LATE!
Cost is $15 for round trip transportation to the outlet.
