Salsa Verde with Sony Music artist and MSU Alumnus Arthur Hanlon perform Afro-Cuban and Latin American music with an open dance session. Demonstration Hall, free.

An audiovisual experience of innovative and electrifying works by composers from around the Americas. MSU Community Music School East Lansing, free.
The Community Music School is located on the east edge of the MSU campus at 4930 Hagadorn Road south of Grand River Avenue.

Momenta Quartet
New York City-based string quartet is joined by pianist Vicky Chow to present an eclectic program of 20th- and 21st-century Latin American music. Cook Recital Hall,
Music Building. Adults $10, seniors $8, students free. Also see lecture/recital with musicologist Alejandro Madrid presenting rarely heard works of Mexican composer Julian Carrillo, 4/15 at 8 p.m. Cook Recital Hall and composer readings from MSU students performed by the quartet, 4/17 at 9:30 a.m. Room 419 Music Practice Building. Both events are free.

Seth is the award-winning cartoonist behind the comic book series Palookavile. He is also the designer for several classic comics reprint series, notably the collections of work by Charles Schulz, John Stanley, and Doug Wright. Seth is the 2019 Comics Forum Creator Keynote Speaker.
