Share your research or creative scholarship with the university community April 15 – 19, 2021 at the University Undergraduate Research and Arts Forum (UURAF)!
Registration https://urca.msu.edu/uuraf/reg for UURAF will open on January 13 and close on February 11, 2021.
Current MSU students and December 2020 graduates from all academic disciplines are eligible to present at UURAF 2021. Students may select poster, oral, or performance presentation types. All stages of research and creative scholarship are welcomed—from preliminary to capstone projects and everywhere in between! Research and creative activity conducted during courses, internship/REU, Education Abroad, or community-based participatory research are also accepted. Research is a process. Share where you are in that process when you present at UURAF.

There are a variety of summer opportunities available for students. Programs are hosted by colleges and universities around the United States and the world. They provide an intensive research experience on a particular topic within a scholarly discipline. For undergraduates with plans for graduate or professional school after MSU, summer research provides the opportunity to expand your professional network and acquire experience in an area of interest. In this workshop, you will learn more about what Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) are and the benefits of participation in an REU.

translation & interpreting field. Each workshop includes a language neutral section and a section with a
target language (Japanese, French, or Spanish). All are welcome to attend the language neutral portion of
each workshop. Each workshop will be three hours long (1.5 hours for non-language specific audiences
and 1.5 hours for target language audiences). The non-language specific workshop will be organized
around four key issues: (1) Navigating the paths to becoming a professional; (2) Scoping the field and its
future; (3) Learning strategies and methodologies for translation and interpretation; and (4) Identifying
resources for the profession. The language specific workshop will be a hands-on workshop focusing
