Scholars working on contested issues are increasingly finding themselves the target of online harassment, doxing, and hacking. This workshop will cover some of the common practices people use to harass and threaten others on the web, and will discuss some simple steps you can take to make yourself and your data safe while working publicly.

Part of the MSU Digital Humanities Workshop series, this introductory workshop is open to anyone – students, faculty, staff, the public – from any disciplinary background.

An RSVP is encouraged but not required to attend the workshop. RSVP here.
