Learn about the cross-cultural community and environmental studies at Israel’s Arava Institute, where students from Israel, Palestine, Jordan and around the world come together to collaborate on environmental solutions. Shadi Shiha, a Palestinian-Jordanian and Eve Tendler, an Israeli, will speak about how their participation in the Arava Institute had a significant impact on them. Sponsored by the MSU Jewish Studies Program and the Asian Studies Center. Co-sponsored by James Madison College, the College of Arts and Letters, the Residential College in the Arts and Humanities, the Science, Technology and Public Policy Program, and Lyman Briggs College.
